Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 as well as White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then named as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki also worked as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30th, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained until the end of Obama's presidency.
